Mike is married to his lovely wife Cheryl Porcaro, they had three (3) children who are all successful in their fields and one of which is taking after Mike to study music.
Michael Porcaro became the bass player for the group “TOTO” in 1982. Though he had toured with the band prior to his official commensuration into the group and played with them as early as the 1970’s he joined to make it a family affair with his brothers Steve and Jeff Porcaro. TheIr father was a very talented percussionist that filled out this very talented family. Joe Porcaro was part of a group of musicians that made up “The Wrecking Crew” whom played a diverse style of music from the era of the 1960’s.
