Early last year 2103 both my parents fell, injuring themselves. Dad fractured his tibia, the non weight bearing bone of the lower leg. His injury was very painful. The doctors prescribed one of the usual pain drugs of choice. Unfortunately it did not ease the pain. Instead he experienced several of the many problematic side effects, specifically; anxiety, disorientation, and memory loss.
Mom sustained a hairline fracture to the lower bone of the sacrum, basically the bone you sit on. Although not a complete break, as in dad’s case, mom’s injury was just as painful. Due to the location, she experienced pain with each move. She actually had to force herself to sit up which she didn’t want to do, and for the longest time, refused to do. We were so afraid she would just give up.
The other issue, which involved both of them, was appetite. Neither one of them wanted to eat. We tried everything! Their favorite foods, spicier foods, ice cream, anything and everything we could think of but no luck. They just nibbled. They were in too much pain, they couldn’t get comfortable and they were anxious and depressed. We were so scared.

Are you kidding me? I said to myself. Really? So as told I asked dad after five minutes to describe on a scale from 0-10, how was his pain? He hesitated, leaned back, thought about it and calmly told me he had no pain. My tears were instant, I could not hold them back and if I had not seen it for myself, I would still not believe it! Dad had been in so much pain. In fact, he told me in confidence that he had prayed so hard the night before for relief (and dad is not a religious person, not at all) that he wanted to personally thank those responsible. And he did.
Mom’s recovery was not quite as rapid as dad’s mainly because she was still refusing to move. We had gotten her a hospital bed and she had a Physical Therapist working with her at home. He was the only one she would move for and then reluctantly. However, once she started taking the ImunStem supplement and moving on her own (when she thought no one was watching) she began to improve rapidly. Their appetites improved as well, the pain went away and they were happy again. Within a month they were up on their feet and walking. We had to hold dad back! He was still in a “boot”. Mom was up and running, well, maybe not running but could sure maneuver her walker.
Currently Mom and Dad are doing exceptionally well. They just celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary. They even danced. Dad is 95 year old and Mom is 92. We are all so very thankful to Golden Sunrise Pharmaceutical and especially ImunStem supplement. Thanks to all of you.
